• The Shroud of Turin

  The flurry of snow did not stop our Year 5/6 children walk to Stonyhurst to view the replica of ‘The Shroud of Turin’ yesterday. They had a guided tour of the exhibition followed by activities. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience throughout Lent.

  

• Lancashire games launch 2023

  Mrs Turner took a group of Year 3/4 children to the launch of the SPAR LANCASHIRE SCHOOL GAMES LAUNCH 2023 at SPAR’s Headquarters where they enjoyed fun activities, met the Lancashire Lion mascot, had a tour around the depot and received many goodies to take away. Mrs Turner could not speak highly enough of the children who were a ‘delight’ from start to finish.

  

• Netball Festival

  The netball team took part in their first event of the year at St Mary’s Hall. Our team excelled in every single match they played at the festival and demonstrated fantastic team spirit. Fatima and Jacob received a medal for player of the match but Mrs Turner said Tom Ward deserved a special mention for his performance both on the court and throughout training.
