World Book Day, 2023

One of our favourite days of the year, when we devote the day to further promote the love of books. This year, we looked at one of the books which are available for free in exchange for the World Book Day book token, called Billy the Brave. Billy dressed as his favourite character in his favourite book, she was a super hero of the Wilderness. What a fabulous assortment of super heroes we had in class and a wonderful assortment of their own favourite stories, some of which Mrs Williams and Mrs Geldard had never heard of before. Mrs Orr visited us to read us one of her favourite jungle animal stories after seeing our emerging jungle role-play area.
