EYFS assembly about being Intentional and Prophetic
This half term the school is focussing on the Jesuit Pupil Profile Virtues Intentional and Prophetic.
The children in the EYFS class have been learning about what these virtues mean and how we can make the right choices in our lives and how we can help others to do the same. In Friday's assembly the reception children spoke clearly and confidently about their intentions for the New Year. William read scripture from Colossians 3:17, Whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
The nursery children held up pairs of words for others to read and choose which would be the best to choose in their daily lives. The assembly finished with prayers read by Decla, Rory, Blake and Hazel.
Mrs Geldard and Mrs Williams were very proud of the increasing confidence shown by these youngest children in our school!
