St Joseph's Roman CatholicPrimary School
To grow daily in God's love, blossoming in His will
We have had a classroom full of kings, queens, princes, princesses, castles and palaces as we celebrate the coronation of King Charles 111 and Queen Camilla this week.
All our nursery and reception children have written to the king and queen and told them what they would do if they were the king or queen, we hope we are lucky enough to receive a reply! The children used the finest of brushes to paint the delicate crowns and then chose jewels to decorate them with. The role-play area has been very popular with lots of dressing up, choosing royal jewels to wear and having our own coronation tea parties. In the construction and small world areas the children have used their imagination and build and played with castles. This weeks musical activities also had a royal theme.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
