St Joseph's Roman CatholicPrimary School
To grow daily in God's love, blossoming in His will
After a spring break it is so lovely to be back in school for Holy Week. All members of the school are taking part in a range of thought provoking, creative, reflective activities and the enjoyment is clear to see.
Cross making, hot cross buns baking, creating Easter basket and cards for the community, constructing Easter gardens and walking the Stations of the Cross are just a few of the activities being experienced by all classes and helping them appreciate the sacrifices that Jesus made for us all.
As the week drew to a close, the focus was on giving, with our oldest children helping to distribute Easter cards and gifts in the local community and our youngest children working hard hopping, skipping, jumping and running to raise funds for the East Lancashire Hospice.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
