St Joseph's Roman CatholicPrimary School
To grow daily in God's love, blossoming in His will
The annual year 3/4 gymnastics competition took place today at St Augustine’s RC High School, and as always our children were a credit to the school and to their families. After half a term of practising the usual format, we discovered that the whole competition had changed! However, this didn’t phase our children and they worked their socks off to learn new routines, which they performed brilliantly.
There are no longer medals or positions against other schools, but all children were awarded their own bronze certificate.
Much more importantly, these children demonstrated determination, perseverance, encouragement, and bundles of enthusiasm and were an absolute pleasure to work with over the past 6 weeks and to represent St Joseph’s school - you’re all gold medalists in my eyes, so a huge well done,
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
