St Joseph's Roman CatholicPrimary School
To grow daily in God's love, blossoming in His will
After hours and hours of planning, risk assessing and negotiating from Mr and Mrs O’Connor, Mrs Leybourne and many others, we were delighted that our sponsored event for JOESA could go ahead on Friday morning. There were cyclists, scooterists, walkers, runner, joggers and supporters, all working hard to raise as much money as possible to purchase bikes to allow children in South Africa to travel to school. The weather was as perfect as the children’s resilience. EYFS and KS1 walked from school to Stonyhurst, arriving just in time to see the KS2 children cycling and scootering past on numerous circuits around the college. EYFS and KS1 ran down the grass alongside the pond and back then all children walked back to school. We are so proud of every member of school and look forward to finding out just how much money we have raised. Huge thanks to all involved behind the scenes and on the day.
