Holy Week in School 2026

St Joseph’s children have had a faithful and fun week of learning throughout Holy Week. All children have made cards and Easter baskets ready to be distributed to members of the local community, they have all taken part in a Stations of the Cross walk up on field, showing empathy at a mature level. Hot cross buns and hot cross scones have been baked and eaten. Key stage two children took part in a traditional Sedar meal and all children attended a wonderful Tenebrae service. Year 5 and 6 children have led celebration of the Word in all classes each day. These activities and more have provided all children with experiences and knowledge to help them understand and remember the events of Holy Week. We would like to wish all our families a blessed and peaceful Easter.
