Due to an unexpected boiler breakdown, there is currently no heating in the school building. For health and safety reasons, the school will be closed today, Monday 5th January, and tomorrow, Tuesday 6th January 2026. We are working urgently to resolve the issue and we will provide updates as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Mrs. McCormack, Headteacher.

Remembrance Day activities

The children have been learning why we wear poppies at this time of year. They have enjoyed making their own poppies using a range of objects and creative materials. We are very lucky to have 4 children in our class who’s Daddies are in or have been in the army, so we have enjoyed looking at photographs of them in their uniforms. The reception children wrote prayers to thank God for those brave soldiers who died in wars in the past and those who still work hard to keep our country and other countries safe.
We had the perfect end to our week of remembrance, when Arthur’s daddy came to school to tell the children about his job as a soldier, The children asked and answered questions in thoughtful and mature ways.
