Mapping skills
As part of our topic work, Hurst Green and Beyond, we have been learning about maps and developing simple mapping skills. The nursery children have built their own maps using a range of small world toys, the reception children have painted and drawn maps to play with their vehicles on and have drawn maps showing the natural and man made features they pass on their journey to school.
