Step into Quality in the EYFS Award
We began our Step into Quality Award journey in March, 2024 when the foundations of our new EYFS classroom had not been dug! There process involved several days of training, visits from the LCC early years advisers and lots of hard work and self evaluation.
The process looks at the following aspects:
Indoor and outdoor learning environments
Routines
Interactions
The keyperson approach
Partnership with parents
Leadership and management
Learning and development
Transitions
A file and PowerPoint presentation were submitted at the end March and we were delighted to receive the award in April 2024. The PowerPoint which gives an overview of our journey can be accessed below.
