Four of our Children from Saint Joseph’s, Hurst Green were privileged to visit St Mary’s RC Church in Burnley to view the relics of St Carlo Acutis. The visit proved to be a deeply meaningful and reflective experience, giving our children the opportunity to enrich their understanding of faith, spirituality and the importance of modern saints within the Catholic tradition.
We are immensely proud of our pupils, whose behaviour throughout the visit was impeccable. They conducted themselves with maturity, reverence and respect, engaging thoughtfully with the experience and demonstrating genuine interest and reflection. Their conduct was a credit to themselves, their families and the wider Saint Joseph’s school community, and they gained a great deal from this special opportunity.
