Ready, Steady Read
There wasn’t a St Joseph’s uniform to be seen on Monday morning, when we celebrated the launch of our Ready, Steady Read book week with a fun day based around books. There was an assortment of book characters and staff and children dressed for a cosy bedtime story. Little Red Riding hood read one of her favourite stories, then each class went off to their classrooms with a different teacher for guest story time.
The rest of the day was spent on a variety of reading and book based activities.
