St Joseph's Roman CatholicPrimary School
To grow daily in God's love, blossoming in His will
We have had the most wonderful morning gathering together the children who will be reception “chicks” in September. They have drawn a picture of themselves and some have written their names. All the children made a chick hat, which they proudly wore. There was lots of small world play, role-play, reading, threading, painting sand play and play dough play. Then it was outside for digging, climbing, running, bug hunting, dinosaur meeting and a lovely picnic snack in the sun! The children introduced themselves to the group and to Joseph Bear, our trustworthy class bear- he cannot wait to go on adventures with these children next year!
It was so lovely to hear some of our current “bunnies” saying they have a new best friend and some of our new children, saying the same.
All too soon, it was time for our lunch time prayer and time for some to go home. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back in September when we can get out even more toys and activities and you can all stay for lunch!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
