To grow daily in God's love, blossoming in His will

Our Mission & Jesuit Ethos

Our mission reminds us that every day is a new chance to grow — just like a seed becoming a strong, beautiful plant. God loves each of us completely, and He invites us to grow closer to Him through our words, actions and choices.

To Growing daily in God’s love...

means learning to trust God, to be thankful, and to know that we are loved no matter what. We grow in God’s love when we are kind, honest, forgiving and when we try our best.

Jesus tells us:
“Remain in my love.” (John 15:9–12)
Just like branches need to stay connected to the vine to grow, we grow when we stay close to Jesus through prayer, worship and caring for others.

Blossoming in His will...

means to become the best person God made us to be — full of joy, goodness and courage. God’s will is simply His plan for us: that we love Him, love one another, and use our gifts to make the world better.

St Paul teaches:
“Let your roots grow down into Him… then your life will be built on Him.” (Colossians 2:7)
When our lives are rooted in God, we can flourish — in our learning, our friendships and our faith.

Our mission reminds us that every child is like a seed planted by God — precious, full of promise, and made to grow. With His love, and with the help of our school community, we can truly blossom.

At a Jesuit school, we learn to be the kind of people Jesus calls us to be — curious, kind, thoughtful, brave and loving. God has given each of us special gifts, and the Jesuit way helps us to use them well, for His glory and for the good of others.

We strive to:

  • find God in all things, looking for God in our learning, in nature, in others, and in the quiet moments, knowing God speaks into our hearts when we listen to Him “Be still and know that I am God.”Psalm 46:10
  • work hard and never give up, even when things are difficult, because we know every effort matters “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”Philippians 4:13
  • reflect and grow, reflecting each day through Examen on how to be the best version of ourselves “Create in me a clean heart, O God.”Psalm 51:10
  • serve others joyfully, as serving others is a way of loving Jesus “Whatever you did for the least of these, you did for me.”Matthew 25:40
  • make our Jesuit virtues a habit in our lives, so that we can serve God and others faithfully “Love one another as I have loved you.”John 15:12
