Chinese Lunar New Year
Our EYFS children learned a little about the traditions of celebrating the Chinese Lunar New year this week. After watching traditional lion and dragon dancing, we tried it ourselves in PE, then returned to class for a Chinese banquet of noodles, rice and prawn crackers. There are some chopsticks experts amongst us! Some fabulous Chinese dragons are being made and painted too, all using the lucky colours of red, yellow and gold.
