People who help us- paramedics

After last week’s disappointment when the police had to cancel their visit, we had an exciting start to our Tuesday when Luke Hayes, a former early years teacher, but now a paramedic, arrived at school in an ambulance. He spoke to the children about his job and the equipment in his bags, before the real excitement of getting to have a look inside the ambulance. Alice got to turn on the blue emergency lights, then we prepared ourselves with hands over our ears ready for the sirens to be turned on!
We hope we never have to travel in an ambulance in an emergency, but we now have some budding paramedics for the future!
