People who help us-doctors

As part of our topic work about people who’s help us, we have been learning about different jobs people do and different people who help us in our daily lives.
Today we were lucky to have a visit from Dr Jo Metcalf from Berry Lane medical centre. Dr Jo talked to the children about her role as a GP and ways in which we can try to keep healthy. The children had lots of things to tell Dr Jo about their visits to the doctors and how they keep healthy.

Fortunately, all the children who were checked by Dr Jo proved to be in good health! We are now looking forward to to seeing the children use their imaginations, along with the knowledge they gained this morning to play the role of doctors in our classroom.
