To grow daily in God's love, blossoming in His will

Class assembly about God's Creation

On the final Friday of the half term, it was the turn of the EYFS children to lead to whole school assembly and my goodness, they did a super job! The nursery children carried the cross, the candle, the world and the bible to the front as we all sang our hymn, All are Welcome. Every reception child spoke confidently about how God had created them and how each one of them is special to God. They also sang a song of thanks about their favourite things God has created in the world. Some also led prayers and scripture. The assembly ended with an action hymn, If I were a butterfly. It was the perfect way to end our first half term's RE learning about God's Creation and Covenant.
