Due to an unexpected boiler breakdown, there is currently no heating in the school building. For health and safety reasons, the school will be closed today, Monday 5th January, and tomorrow, Tuesday 6th January 2026. Homework Help

Homework is completed in workbooks provided by school. These workbooks have 10 minute weekly tasks for each of the 5 days of the week. We ask that homework is completed at home, with as much adult support as is necessary. Most children will need an adult to support them, or to check their work over afterwards. 

 

Once marked, homework will be returned with blue marks indicating where corrections need to be made. Please support us and your child by helping them to correct any mistakes that have been made. 

 

Spellings are tested every Monday. Spelling lists are sent home, but copies of these spellings can be found below. Please help you child in the practising of their spellings in preparation for their weekly tests.

 

To support you in supporting your child, there are homework help documents provided for spellings, grammar and maths.
