Operation Christmas Child
This November, St Joseph’s will be preparing for the season of Advent by joining Operation Christmas Child. The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to show God's love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Since 1993, more than 209 million children in over 170 countries have experienced God's love through the power of simple shoebox gifts from Operation Christmas Child
'Save the Children'
On Thursday 21st December Key Stage 2 took part in the annual Community Christmas Lunch at the village hall to help raise money for their chosen charity ‘Save the Children’. The children sang the carols beautifully whilst the narrators retold the story of Christmas with clarity. We raised, together with the community of Hurst Green £1513.10.
