We have been lucky enough to enjoy lots of warm and sunny days this first half term, so lots of the teaching and learning has been done outside.
Our focus has been on getting to know each other, and on the season of Autumn.
We have been exploring shape, pattern and number in maths. There have been lots of opportunities for improving our writing skills, using a range of tools instead of just pencils.
Imaginative play indoors and outdoors is always a great way for children to develop communication skills and share ideas about how their play can be extended.
Stories, rhymes and phonics are an important part of the daily routine, and all children are making great progress.
We are now looking forward to a well earned half term break!
