Wow, it's been another busy and long half term, but we've reached the last day. This week has seen 2 dress rehearsals, 2 performances of Cinderella, 2 performances of the Nativity and a Christmas party. The term will end with a carol service in the chapel at 12.45 on Friday and a key stage 2 trip to the theatre in Manchester. We wish all our families a happy and peaceful Christmas and thank you for your amazing generosity of food bank donations.

Four pupils from Year 2 were chosen to represent the school in the Ribble Valley kurling competition. It was a tough match with the team playing 8 other teams. They found the St. Augustine's floor very slippy and it took a while to get used to it but they improved as the competition went on and eventually won the bronze medal. We were very proud of them .
We were delighted that the Bethany children were able to come and visit us at school to talk about their life in Tanzania. Their singing and dancing kept the children mesmerised and their ability to carry heavy buckets of water on their heads was awesome!
