After a tiring first half term and with lots of sniffles and tummy bugs around, it seemed very appropriate to spend the last day of half term wearing our pyjamas! The amount raised for Friends of St Joseph's has yet to be counted, but thank you to all those families who sent in a donation.

Our Foundation stage class were very lucky to have a real vet visit their vets role-play area last week. A huge thank's to Mrs Ward who brought along her medical bag and "pet dog" to school to help them understand the work of a vet. They all checked that their hearts were beating with the stethoscope too!
We have been amazed by our pupils once again. At the Ribble Valley Cross Country championships our teams were outstanding. All the six girls finished in the top 25 and so will qualify to run for the Ribble Valley at the Lancashire championships. The Girls team was places first in the competition. The boys ran strongly too with three runners qualifying to run for Ribble Valley. Overall St. Joseph's were the second team.
