Our year 5 and 6 girl's team have been practicing for the past half term with Coach Dominic and they entered the Ribble Valley tournament at Clitheroe Grammar School. They performed well, winning one match, loosing one match and drawing the remaining matches. They only lost out on a semi final play off match on goal difference. Well played girls!
We are lucky to have received discs of photos from Tower Wood and so those published here should give a flavour of the trip.
St. Bernadette's House organised a sponsored run last month to raise funds for CARITAS, a charity they chose to support. St. Bernadette's presented their cheque to Mrs Duxbury, the parish representative of the charity. Thanks to all pupils at the school a massive £694.90 was raised. Many thanks to the generosity of family and friends.
They did it! Eight amazing pupils from St. Joseph's conquered the highest peak in England and the longest lake in England. Full write up will be posted and some much better pictures than these. But Mr Crabtree and Mrs Bailey are so proud of these pupils that they couldn't wait to celebrate their achievement with the rest of St. Joseph's.
