We were pleased to welcome so many families to our Fair Trade Breakfast on Thursday, March 3rd. Home made muffins and hot cross buns, made with Fairtrade ingredients were on sale, along with a selection of hot and cold drinks. The breakfast coincided with World Book Day, so an assortment of visitors arrived at school to sample the food! Later in the day, a variety of World Book Day activities took place, with the sharing and discussion of our favourite books, writing a whole school story, making book marks and a teddy bears' picnic for the foundation class.
