Community links are an important part of our life at St Joseph's. We enrich our children's experiences through our links with others.
As a Roman Catholic school, the work that we do for others is part of how we live our faith.
We form part of the parish of St Joseph's and our parish priest, Father Tim Curtis SJ, is a regular visitor to school .
We attend both parish and school masses on a regular basis.
One of our parishioners, Mrs Hodkinson, runs the sacramental programme for children in our parish and school.
We are part of Salford Diocese and work closely with Diocesan Advisors, for example, in planning our RE curriculum.
As a village school, we are aware that we play an important part in our community and we work with our local churches, WI, the local youth club and parish council.
We also work with our neighbouring primary schools through shared events such as sports, we have strong links with St Augustine's RC Secondary School and Stonyhurst College.
We are particularly proud of our link with St Joseph's School, Chishawasha in Zimbabwe, our partner school.
We support many charitable organisations, including Caritas (which includes St Joseph's Penny), CAFOD and Mary's Meals.
Below are some links to our community partners.
