As a small school with mixed classes, planning is complex. We have spent some time developing our long term plans in line with the curriculum and to meet our children's needs. Please see below for details of coverage across the Key Stages.

To ensure a broad and balanced curriculum, we block some subjects together across a 'curriculum week'. For example, in November, children across the school develop their D.T. skills by designing, planning and evaluating Christmas decorations.

Foundation

Our outstanding foundation unit is available for children age 3 through to 5. The foundation unit is run by our very experienced Early Years teacher, Mrs Linda Geldard and HLTA Mrs Atkinson.
The foundation unit is located in a spacious, well resourced classroom with access to a large outdoor area which is well utilised as part of the curriculum.
